A story I typed last month:
Some interesting things have been happening at my work. I work rotating weekends. On Saturdays I work alone, and on Sundays I work with one other person.
This Saturday I had to work, and toward the end of the day (5 minutes before I had to leave) I got a phone call from a doctor. He called with a question I didn't know the answer to. I got his number and told him I'd call him back. I found the answer and when I went to call him back, his number was missing! I searched everywhere for his number and couldn't find it. I was so upset!!!! I got ready to leave and he called back and I was able to answer his question.
The next day, the same thing happened, but with another piece of paper! Again, I looked everywhere and it was nowhere to be found!!!! I told my co-worker, "you know, I really think there are ghosts in this place!" He pretty much agreed with me...that was toward the end of the day and I went home shortly aftwerward. The story, however gets even stranger.
We didn't have to work on Labour Day, so the next day (yesterday) my co-worker tells me this story. "You know how you were talking about ghosts in this place?" he says to me. "Yeah" I answer to which he tells me the following story. He printed a bunch of labels, but one of them didn't print out. He knew for a fact that he sent it to print, but for some odd reason it didn't come out. He he went into the computer, queued the barcode printer to print another label, and went into the other room to retreive it. Upon returning to the original room, there was the original barcode, on the chart, which was blank before he left the room!!!!! |
