EVP's Captured within my own home....***ZooKeeper*** |
This is what started my quest:
As I was sitting here on the computer, I noticed something peeking quickly around the bathroom door adjacent from me. I blow it off and maybe my eyes might be playing tricks on me. My daughter comes over to sit next to me and then says, "mommy, I keep seeing someone in the bathroom". Yea, so I am NOT seeing things. Ok, so I go grab my recorder and place it in the bathroom(of all places lol) and I start recording and chuckle telling whoever is in there that I know they are peeking in on us and asked why and who it is.
This kind of spirit I actually find amusing. WHY do they peek around corners or dart through the corner of your vision? I am not sure but this could be the same spirit that darts in and out of my bedroom at night which I have grown to almost ignore. Only because it's getting old lol.
The next day....
The house was quiet, no kids home. No tv on, just me and my recorder. I figure, eh why not grab my recorder turn it on and just let it record without saying a word that I am doing so. So, I go upstairs to my bedroom, push the record button and go over to the armior and start trying on some clothes(yea, women have this thing about clothes and making sure what still fits right lol).
While trying on my jeans, I captured something that I cannot quite make out. At the end, I think I hear 'get out'.
After 10 mins, I turned off the recorder. A few minutes later, I went downstairs and had the urge to turn it back on and what'dya know, I captured another recording after asking a series of questions. The one in particular, I asked if 'it' was angry with me. I get the response, "yes" then a pause and 'yessssssss' again but more drawn out.
Now, this did bother me at first but I figured why should I let it bother me? If anything, this spirit isn't going to harm me. At best, I think it's trying to just freak me out. It worked for a min but now I am more interested in learning more. With all that said, can anyone help me figure out what the 'get out' one really is?

btw--when I set up the recorder in the bathroom,I never caught anything. The next day is when I actually caught something upstairs in my bedroom and downstairs in the dining/kitchen area. Sorry for the confusion |

Wow, this is really weird. I have heard many EVP's before. The first link to me....I can't make it out but it seems to be saying about 6 words. The second is very clear...you are right it says,"yes"and then,"yessss." It seems to be a males voice. What kind of recorder do you use? I would like to see if I can capture something here. |

I heard the first link again and it says,"(someone)said get out now". It almost sounds like,"mom said get out now!" |

Ih ave a ghostin my house that peeks around cornors and is only seen in the corner of your eye. I have gotten used ot it being there since it's been doing this for 6 or 7 years. I have wanted to put a tape recorder up in my brothers room(that room is scary) to see what the spirit(s) say, but I am very scared to cuz I don't want to hear anything like get out. My brothers are even scared to do it. |

OMG!!!! I can't believe this! I advise you be careful. Those are indeed voices, but not voices of dead people like you think. Those are demons. If I were you, I would stay away from doing EVP. Remember the movie White Noise. Please, be careful. |

The get out evp, I agree with someone else here that there is more than just the words get out, it is like a sentence or a few words together and get out is at the end. I didn't feel as if the spirit was telling you to get out.Did you try asking why it is mad at you? You know they can become upset or mad at the silliest things at times. |

I'm amazed that you aren't afraid of having a ghost in your home and even hearing its voice! WOW! I'd probably be frozen with fear and then faint! I didn't listen to the recordings because I'm at the university library. |

This was a cool story, thanks for the read. Unfortunately, I'm at work and my puter doesn't have speakers, so I can't listen to the evp. Those things freak me out anyway..lol. ;) |

Sorry everyone for not getting back sooner....much sooner..... Now, for the recorder I use, it's an Olympus digital voice recorder. I have had great success with it and really hope it lasts me for a while..... As for this spirit being evil, I don't really feel it's of that kind, maybe upset and confused for some reason but not evil. Nothing really bad or too out of the ordinary has happened in my house, just typical prankster/'I am here'/fooling around kind of stuff.....lol I used to be skittish with knowing I had someone else residing with us but it's grown on me and I don't really mind it much, as long as it doesn't interfere with our lives....If you go to the link again that I posted originally, you can get to my main evp page and listen to others I have captured in my home and while out with my sister in law on some hunts. |
