Maybe just a vivid imagination but who knows, I think kids are very perceptive to things around them....but don't you just love listening to their stories??, my grandies are all older and I miss that part of their little lives..have to wait for greats now heheheeeeee...:) |

No problem, I do it all the time. I kind of think the "wake up Josh" is from his mother or father getting him to go to the bathroom! But the other stuff--I don't know. |

Kids see things we don't, 'cos they don't have any preconceptions in their minds. They are so open to it. Do they frighten him? If so, tell him to tell them to go away. If not, well let him enjoy the experience. |

I haven't had the chance to really talk to him about it, but he didn't seem to be freightened by them. I'll have to talk to him one day. |

kids are more aware of things adults arent. one night my 4 year old came into my room with the most frightened look on his face. and i believe him when he told me this, he said "mommy, i was laying in there with my face towards the wall, and someone said in my ear HEY DUDE!, i turned around because i thought it was grandpa but nobody was there!" since then he's been afraid to go to sleep because he's scared he'll hear someone invisible talking to him. To make him feel better I told him about the time a ghost poked me i the butt..hehe |

Thats creepy! I think I would believe him too! Keep an eye on that though, if these shadowed people are not very nice, you might want to get him and the rest of the fam out of there! Thanks for sharing though! |

He's seeing something. Ask him to draw them for you. My Grandson came running to the front room saying he saw a ghost!
My son gave him a paper n pencil and asked him to draw it. What he drew was pretty intreging! |

Knowing "Josh" as I do, this shocks me a bit. It sounds like he is used to "them" though...and not frightend. We need to get him to remember a conversation with them...that would make an interesting story. |

Here is something to think about, He said that they live in the back yard and everything is the same as it was. This would make me thinkthey are tring to tell him something. Do you know any history of the house? or the area?
As others have said kids are able to see things that we as adults can not. But if there is something there we can feel it. Slight chills a feeling that you are being watched. Do you get any odd feelings when you are in the yard? or in his room?
From what you have said I would watch very carefully what is going on around him. Black shadow people are not always what we think they are they will gain trust and then start pushing. |

Thank you Mad Monkey for your concern. As far as history of the house/area I don't know much. The house is new but the land might have seen battles as far as indian, and Civil War, maybe Revolutionary War too. You have an interesting theory though. |
